Seafood chowder was the best I've had!

Fun place to get a good lobster roll in a very clean restaurant. The view of the lobster boats in the harbor sitting on the dry bottom of the bay after the huge Fundy tide dropped out was amazing. The service was first class in a casual atmosphere.

Lovely place, good food and service! A bit pricey but worth it! I recommend it :)

Got takeout- the loaded corn was delicious! Do yourself a favour and get it! I promise you'll love it! Burger was delightful, as were the fish tacos! A "must" on your trip to Fundy!

Charming, compact place with outdoor seating (for those of us that like watching boats)- and great food! Everything was delicious, and great for sharing. Boujie fries and lobster rolls, anyone?

Oh my goodness!!! BEST food of our trip. We had the corn... incredible! Seared scallops... WOW. Lobster poutine... amazing and the fish and chips... not too much batter... light and moist. AAA+++ food.

The location and atmosphere is great. While the clam chowder was amazing the English muffin was simply out of this world. Overall it's a great place!

We had really excellent time at tipsy tails, food was so tasty .lobster was a bit expensive but was a good portion and delicious. I really recommend fish and chips, was so yummy .

A group of 3, reviewing for all of us. Service was good. Patio was pleasant, chilly breeze the evening we were there and blankets were available to stay warm. The scallops and secret lobster Mac and cheese were excellent. Burger was a little dry. Kimchi poutine was nice. Would go back again if I find myself in the area.

The staff are so so so friendly! They made us so welcome. As you can see in the pics, we had lobster roll and chowder. Delicious! The view from the patio is great too. If you watched the TV series The Affair, which was set around a roadside restaurant in America called The Lobster Roll, well this restaurant is very similar.

Surprisingly trendy and innovative food place in a small town.After a long and tiring hike, we were really hungry and all that we cared about was eating whatever was available. Based on my pre-conceived notions, I expected to find a diner or a generic restaurant nearby. However, we were very pleasantly surprised.There were some really fancy, but affordable options. Truffle fries, beyond meat veggie burger, etc. Lots of craft beer, signature cocktails and other alcoholic drinks as well. Very comfortable atmosphere in the restaurant and the server was very, very friendly.

Last summer I stopped and ordered a lobster roll and side garden salad. Well, it was so good I stopped tonight and ordered the same. The salad is honestly to die for and the lobster roll was really good too - the taste makes it clear that it's authentic fundy lobster. Definitely going to be back

We had our lunch here a few days ago on a sunny afternoon by the sea. I enjoyed a Lobster roll with fries and my significant other had the fish & chips. Both meals were very good and the service with a smile. We sat on the open patio overlooking the fishing boats and enjoyed an excellent meal!

I had fish and chips and my husband had lobster rolls. Both meals were delicious. Staff was very friendly.

Menu is compact but food is fresh tasting and excellent. Patio provides a superb view and is pet friendly.

Nice spot with a great view onto the harbor and fishing boats. Good to very good seafood with a nice selection of dishes. Several innovative starters that are very tasty. Fried fish excellent but lobster roll probably a 7 out of 10. Very convenient if staying in Fundy Park. Service good and prices are reasonable. Very busy though they do take reservations.

Dog friendly on rear deck. Some good CA beers including ones from Alma's own Holy Whale Brewing. I enjoyed my chowder, which was big enough for my dinner, but was not terribly deep if you are a big eater. Great friendly service.

Beyond authentic food. It’s the food that you expect to get when going out other places, but never get. NOT Tipsy Tails. Their follow through from start to finish was incredible. They did an absolute outstanding job with our chowder, burger, mussels, and poutine. Great atmosphere, and very accommodating! Blankets for the cooler evenings. You have got to go!!

The best seafood chowder I have had in New Brunswick, Nova Scotia or Maine. It was flavorful, meaty and hot. Chock filled with seafood. Wish I could make it like this at home. Was here Aug 6.

Stopped by Tipsy Tails for a quick bite to eat on our way through Alma as we heard it was the place for a great bowl of chowder. We were not disappointed! We ended up ordering the Seafood Chowder and the Lobster Roll - both of which were just great. The chowder was the best we found during our two weeks out East and the lobster roll had a good amount of lobster and was quite filling. Additionally, Jeremy was an excellent server and was awesome during our visit. Thanks again!

We had a very good experience at this restaurant. We were able to get a spot on the patio that overlooked the harbour. A nice relaxed atmosphere. It was not to busy when we stopped in. Loved that they had the option of a peanut butter and jam sandwich for kids. Kids menu was good. We also had the lobster dinner which was delicious. The garlic biscuits were so good. Our server was great, efficient, and kind. I would definitely visit this restaurant again!

Seafood restaurants offering a couple gastropub items. You can get whole lobster here. Burger is good and comes in a beyond meat variety. Patio seating available. Great service

Food was underwhelming, barely any seafood for a waterfront restaurant. The seafood platter was all canned food.The lobster roll was dry and unseasoned, the portions did not match the prices. The waiter offered spicy mayo but didn't mention there was an extra charge for it. Personnel was nice and all but the food was a zero. Wouldn't recommend.

The food was absolutely amazing! My lobster was perfect and my girlfriend's burger was amazing! If you are staying in Alma or just passing through, you need to eat here!

Had an amazing meal here when we spent the night in Alma. The lobster roll was perfect and the loaded corn on the cob was delicious as well. Service was awesome. Highly recommend this spot.

Great prices! Cool view of the harbour and watching the Fishermen come in from the days work. Food was very good. Portions not sharing size. Fantastic friendly service. Good for kids too!

Really good food. Kids fish and chips portions were very tiny. The lobster dinner with warm quinoa salad and coleslaw was amazing. Be careful because it's Market price for that dinner and it cost $50.00 that day. We also had the scallops app which was 6 scallops for $18. Really good food though just $$$.

We had lobster rolls and was so disappointed. I will say the bun was fresh but the bottom was filled with lettuce and barely any lobster at all. For what they charge for it it should have more. Left paying a big bill and very unsatisfied.

We ate at several places in the area, and we really enjoyed Tipsy Tails. I had the lobster Mac and cheese, and my mate had a burger. We were both very pleased! The lobster Mac and cheese had plenty of lobster and great flavor, and the burger was big, juicy, and flavorful. We were very disappointed in the olive appetizer, however. $8 for a small handful of marinated olives, and of the three types, one type wasn’t even edible. They were so bitter! So that was a bit of a waste. We told our server we didn’t eat the 5 or so small green ones because they were really awful, and she just shrugged. The outdoor deck has nice views of the harbor. Inside wasn’t anythung special, so we were happy to have had pleasant weather. We would definitely return.

Chowder was great! My lobster roll was really good as well...nice and light on the mayo. Tried the lobster Mac & cheese...kids didn't like the cheese, I'm not a pasta fan but the combo of the cheese and lobster was good in my opinion. My husband enjoyed the lobster dinner. We sat on the patio which was nice. Service was friendly. Overall we liked it but enjoyed our dinner the night before across the street at Alma's Boathouse a lot more.

By far the best sea food in Alma. Stayed in Fundy for 3 days, and this was the place to eat. Staff teach you about and how to open the lobster. The mac and cheese is the best I've ever had and the chowder is hearty with full of flavor.
